The Stitches and Craft Show is back after some time being on hiatus. I don’t really know what happened or care, I’m just happy that it’s back! A souvenir pin valued at $5 has been especially produced to commemorate a new beginning and is FREE for visitors. You can pick yours up at the show.
So what’s it all about? This craft show should have everything you need if you’re into textiles, quilting, cake decorating, sewing, beading and Jewellery making.
Here is my pick of stuff not to miss out on:
Popup Classes – Textile art with unique stitching
Textile art with unique stitching. A fee is required for this workshop, but if you wanna learn about dyeing and mix-media textiles, this is for you.
For all you beginner sewers out there (that includes me) there is a ‘sew easy’ class that will supply you with the materials and teacher to guide you through creating a funky fabric bag. And the best part? It’s free! Also, there are a tonne of workshops happening, so you can check them out here.
This year the Metal and Wood Show will be running alongside the Stitches and Craft Show. So a ticket includes entry into both shows…no more seeing slouching partners falling asleep on cafe chairs…bless.
