Craft and Quilt Fair Sydney | June 2013

CraftandQuiltFair2013The Craft and Quilt Fair is back in Sydney for it’s 20th year anniversary – wow! Come along to the crafter’s paradise and see exclusive displays, inspiring exhibitions and guest artists at the biggest craft event in Australasia. There will be special guest artists, Pop up classes, Make and Take and Workshops galore.

Here are my top highlights:

Workshops: Get there early and check out the Secrets to Softies by Claire Waring. Discover an insider’s techniques to crafting beautiful softies. Explore simple little tricks to cutting, stitching and stuffing that will make all the difference to your projects, with lots of opportunities for questions

Make and Take: How cute is this? You can make and take your own coin purse keyring with Mio & Bronwyn, Studio Mio. Suitable for all skill levels. Kit cost $20. Book at Stand B32.

Cavalcade of Fashion.: See and hear how Edwardian women lived lives of luxury and how lace was made for the fashion of this period and experience the cavalcade of fashion.

Texstyle: Check out the talented display of the 2012 Texstyle exhibition.

See the quilts: Don’t forget to check out the quilts exhibition – it’s including into the cost of your ticket.

Oh and I didn’t even mention all the craft goodies you can buy – make room in your craft corner as heaps of great craft retailers will be there, all under one rood.
