The Sydney Fair | 22 – 25 May 2014

TheSydneyFair2013_18In it’s second year, The Sydney Fair is on again at the Byron Kennedy Hall, Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park for four days only. So it’s time to frock up and take your favourite vintage loving guy or girl and come along to the Fair.

With everything for sale, the fair covers all areas of the 20th Century- Art Deco – Mid Century and Vintage. With more Australian and international dealers than last year, the Fair has a bit of everything; fashion and couture, jewellery, art, posters, furniture, porcelain, lighting plus a Hollywood couture exhibition.

For the first time, designer fashion from the Hollywood greats will be available for purchase. With many pieces from the leading designers of the 40’s and 50’s, this includes Marilyn Monroe’s favourite designers Ceil Chapman. Who wouldn’t want to purchase a piece of wearable history?

Held in the deliciously Art Deco Ballroom – The Byron Kennedy Hall venue captures the vintage feel and compliments its gorgeous vintage wares. While you’re there, why not try to spot the 1926 Miss Australia Trophy or the 1.7 metre high bronze camel.

If you’re getting married and are looking for the perfect vintage wedding fashion accessories, then this is the place to be! Get creative; you could find some beautiful vintage gowns, acquire a unique Art Deco Engagement ring, or perhaps you can decorate your newly wed pad with an 1960’s Egg Chair, some original posters from the 1920’s or go all out on an Art Deco Dining Suite.
