RnR-Market-08Look out, the Sydney Rock ‘n’ Roll & Alternative Market is back and gearing up for its massive Christmas edition on this Sunday November 23.

There will be over 100 traders selling a vast array of stalls selling quality unique goods including but not limited to; rock ‘n’ roll, alternative and vintage clothing, jewellery, accessories, posters, cult DVDs, tattoo art, homewares, art, collectables – it’s a Christmas shopping treasure trove.

If you’re after retro hair and make-up, stylists and a traditional barber will be available to turn you into a pin-up.

Looking for records? Then check out the Massive Record Fair presented by Revolve Records – Erskineville and Egg Records – Newtown. Vinyl vultures can sift through more than 50,000 LPs and 45s covering alternative, punk, metal, rockabilly, blues, jazz, country, reggae, club, hip hop and every other genre since the dawn of rock ‘n’ roll its packed with bargains and rare gems.

Will there be food? Well of course, you’ll find a café, bars and international food.

If you’re a rev head then a vintage and classic vehicle display might be perfect for you.


Looking to entertain the kids? There are kid friendly outdoor activities and not to mention the Christmas entertainment line-up including: Six Ft Hick, Spurs for Jess, Hanks Jalopy Demons, Plus DJs – Rod Almighty, The Crimplenes, Solid Gold Hell and Brian. Plus MCs – Wolfman Dan & the Rockabilly Rhino.

Entry to the Sydney Rock ‘n’ Roll & Alternative Market is $5, with kids under 12 FREE.

Christmas Craft Market and Antique Valuations Event | 22 November 2014

CraftFairAntiqueEvaluation_14The Craft Market and Antique Valuations event is on again this weekend Saturday 22nd November and just in time for Christmas.

This is the 8th Craft Fair organised by volunteers of OLQP and features over 30 stalls from all over Sydney, selling quality Christmas decorations and gifts, baby wear, home-made décor, kitchen goods, edible treats, scarves and bags, jewellery, potted violets and plants and much more.

Don’t feel too bad about blowing the budget as profits go to supporting CareFlight who offer a range of services in patient care and in education and training which support their mission is to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community by providing the highest standard of rapid response critical care.

There will be devonshire tea, a BBQ from 8am and antique valuations available from 9am.

If you’re into The Voice, Belinda Adams and the Police Band will be stopping by.
